Common questions
Is there a lock-in contract?
Monthly Foundation, Aspire and Premier plans are month-to-month. Save 20% off the monthly fee with annual billing, and enjoy a further discount up front with the standard activation fee waived when you subscribe to annual billing.
What is included in the activation fee?
The activation fee covers standard platform setup, website configuration, branding, supported competition-data connection and agreed current-content migration. It is waived on annual plans.
What is included with annual payment?
Annual Foundation, Aspire and Premier plans enjoy a 20% discount and waive the standard $550 activation fee.
Can we import historical results and player records?
Yes. Initial setup includes the current season and one previous season where information is readily available. Each subsequent season is retained, so the club’s history grows over time. Seasons predating the standard setup period are $275 per season for all configured teams where the source is suitable. Complex reconciliation is quoted separately.
Does Foco Sport replace our Union's registration or results system?
No. Foco Sport uses supported competition information from sources such as Rugby Xplorer or Fusesport to create a better club website and communication workflows. Playing registrations and competition administration remain in the governing system. If you don’t use RX or Fusesport for your particular match information, contact us about a custom solution.
How are match reports created?
Foco Sport can prepare a club-wide weekend wrap from available match data. Individual reports combine that data with commentary, awards, milestones and approved media submitted by the club, then save the report as a draft for review.
What does no platform fee on sales mean?
Foco Sport does not take a percentage of eligible membership, store, registration or event-ticket sales. Standard payment-gateway and third-party provider fees still apply.
Will our club still control the website and its content?
Yes. Authorised club administrators can add, edit, manage and publish content on the website. Foco Sport provides the managed platform, structured content base and automation tools that help keep the site consistent and current; they support the club’s editorial work rather than replace its control. Technical hosting, security, maintenance and core platform configuration remain managed by Foco Sport.
What is the difference between Aspire and Premier?
Aspire provides automated content and engagement tools managed by the club. Premier adds proactive planning, multi-channel preparation, campaign and sponsor tools, reporting, historical records and a defined Foco Sport service allowance.
What does Premier's six-hour allowance include?
It covers planning, automated-content QA, Impact Report preparation, quarterly review preparation, minor revisions, sponsor-reporting checks and minor platform enhancements. Routine technical fault resolution is separate.
Does Premier include social media management?
Premier includes social-ready drafts, templates, campaign plans and recommended schedules. Posting, community management, photography, video and bespoke creative production require a separately scoped service.
What is Automated Club Email?
It provides email-platform access, hosting, formatting, segmentation, scheduling and automated delivery. The content available depends on the club’s underlying tier.
Can we upgrade later?
Yes. Clubs can upgrade without paying another activation fee.
Do you work with unions and associations?
Yes. Unify is a separate custom solution for unions, competitions, associations and multi-club organisations.
